Refund Policy

1. Overview

We want every devotee to have a smooth experience. This policy explains when a refund may be issued for payments made on SRISEVA for seva bookings, dakshina/donations, prasadam orders and related services. This policy should be read together with our Cancellation Policy and Terms & Conditions.

2. Seva Bookings

  • If a booked seva cannot be performed by the temple/priest for reasons attributable to SRISEVA or the temple (e.g. temple closure, priest unavailability), a full refund will be issued to your original payment method, or you may opt to reschedule.
  • Once a seva has been performed and sankalp offered in your name, the booking amount is non-refundable, as the service has been fully rendered.
  • Refunds for eligible cancellations made before the seva date follow the timelines in our Cancellation Policy.

3. Dakshina & Donations

Dakshina and donations (including E-Hundi, Anna Prasad Seva, Gou Seva and Temple Renovation contributions) are voluntary offerings and are non-refundable once processed, except in cases of a genuine duplicate charge or a verified technical/payment error, which will be refunded in full after verification.

4. Prasadam Orders

  • If your prasadam order is not delivered within the estimated delivery window, you may request a refund or re-delivery.
  • If the item received is damaged, spoiled or materially different from what was ordered, report it within 24 hours of delivery (with photos, where possible) for a refund or replacement.
  • As prasadam is a perishable, sanctified item, refunds are not available for change of mind once dispatched.

5. Payment Failures & Duplicate Charges

If an amount is debited from your account but the booking/order was not confirmed, or you were charged more than once for the same transaction, the excess amount will be automatically reconciled and refunded to your original payment method by Razorpay/your bank, typically within 5–7 business days. If you do not see the refund after this period, please contact us.

6. How to Request a Refund

Raise a request from your Bookings page, or reach out via our support form with your order/booking reference. Our team will review and respond within [X] business days.

7. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are initiated within [3–5] business days and, depending on your bank or card issuer, may take an additional [5–7] business days to reflect in your account. Refunds are always made to the original payment method used at checkout.
